In January 2015, Canadian Federal Government has introduced a new Immigration System of "Express Entry" to Canada that will manage permanent residence applications to all Canadian Provinces, except Quebec. The following programs will be managed through the Express Entry system:
Canadian Experience Class
Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Provincial and Territorial Governments may also invites candidates from the Express Entry pool
Immigration System of "Express Entry" to Canada will have two steps:
Immigration candidates will create an online profile in the Express Entry electronic system, and qualified candidates will be added to the electronic pool of candidates
Immigration candidates with the highest-ranking in the Express Entry electronic pool will be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada
The Federal Government of Canada intends to process within 6 months the immigration applications of candidates who will be invited to apply for permanent residence under the System of "Express Entry" to Canada.
